Boehm, Rolfe Vernon
HistoryBorn 1912, Rolfe Boehm was educated at Goodwood, the University of South Australia (then SA School of Mines) and University of Adelaide. He was articled to architect F W Hocart and was the works manager for Wunderlich Ltd in 1934-38. He was an Associate to Kenneth Milne for 4 years and worked for Boehm, Twopeny Architects Pty Ltd 1973. In 1956 he designed the Metro Drive-in Theatre at Marion and established a branch office at Whyalla for Milne Boehm Twopeny and Hodge in 1959 where he worked until 1963. He was President of the RAIA (SA Chapter) from 1962-64. In 1971 he established a branch office for the same firm in Darwin and worked there until 1973 when the firm became Boehm Twopeny and Partners.
