Description | Contains material related to the career of architect, academic, and architectural historian, Donald Leslie Johnson. The history of the Flinders University Art Museum goes back to the first days of the University itself. In 1966 R. W. Smith initiated a study collection of art works to complement his courses in Fine Arts. The collection has steadily grown, notably with the appointment of Donald Brook as first Professor of Visual Arts. In 1975 it was given a permanent home when a print gallery was established. This has since become the Flinders University Art Museum. The Curator in 1988 was Dr Amzad Mian.
