Description | French copperplate engravings of ancient Roman buildings 1682. The measured drawings (all by A Desgodetz) include elevations, plans, sections and details. There are an equal number of pages of text. The engravers include Le Pautre, Guerard, de Chastillon, Fournier, Marotte, and de la Boissiere. The pages are not complete and come from a much larger book (according to an appraiser’s certificate) published by Jean Babtiste Coighard in 1682.(In plans drawer)
